BlackDog Advertising is looking for an experienced, driven and talented Client Account Manager/Account Executive to join our collaborative team to produce effective online marketing for our diverse group of clients within the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industries. 

The Client Account Manager will serve as the point person and day-to-day contact between the client and the agency. The Client Account Manager will work with all internal agency departments to facilitate the projects and campaigns associated with their clients’ accounts.

Looking for Candidates with the Following Attributes & Skill Sets:

  • 2 -3 years agency or client based marketing experience within an advertising agency
  • Strong working knowledge of digital creative and social media creative
  • Team player willing to support other team members with work overflow
  • Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills and work well within a team environment
  • Ideal candidate will be a creative, innovative and proactive thinker with excellent communication, organizational and managerial skills

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the client contact, point person and quarterback for all things related to your client accounts
  • Meet with clients on a regular basis (generally via phone, Zoom, or email, and occasionally in person)
  • Assist in managing and organizing creative operations for a specific group of client accounts to include staff supervision and work production
  • Work closely with Creative Directors, Project Managers, Design, Digital Marketing and Copywriting teams to ensure client work is executed properly, timely, and to the required specifications
  • Work with BlackDog team members to ensure tone, style, look and feel of work is consistent with clients’ brand
  • Work with BlackDog team members to proactively plan and strategize innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives for our clients
  • Assist in annual and ongoing budget planning for clients based on historical data and proactive planning for future initiatives
  • Utilize strategic, innovative and creative thinking to develop opportunities for our clients
  • Understands the strategic, and technical context of the clients’ businesses and industries and uses this knowledge to develop solutions and approach tasks in a way that is effective for the client
  • Stay current with regard to industry trends, tools and practices

Must Haves:

  • 2-3 years experience in client account management within an advertising agency
  • High attention to detail and a creative sensibility
  • Self-starter; effective in managing projects from the ground up
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-focused
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and managerial skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate & work effectively with multiple teams

Software Knowledge

  • Proficient in Mac operating system
  • Proficient in Google Drive suite (Sheets, Docs, etc) is preferred
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress, Sprout, and/or similar software programs is preferred
  • Knowledge of Workamajig is a plus


  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field or comparable professional experience
