BlackDog Advertising is seeking a Digital Marketing Content Manager to work with our account team to coordinate and manage content across our Tour, Attraction, Adventure & Destination clients’ digital channels. Including social, web, connected & paid digital.

Looking for Candidates with the Following Attributes & Skill Sets:

  • 6-10 years experience within an advertising agency managing content for multiple client accounts
  • Knowledge of Sprout software
  • Experience in and ability to strategize and plan campaigns to increase audience following and participation, while ensuring campaigns maintain brand integrity, client goals and budget
  • Successful candidates will have an ability to understand and adapt content to fit the individual style and tone of each client, brand and/or industry
  • Candidates must possess a passion for learning and an eye for detail, excellent problem solving skills, the drive to stay current with today's marketing trends, standards and techniques, and thrive on taking the initiative to take our clients to new heights
  • Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills, and must work well within a fast-paced team environment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing & managing content strategy across all digital channels (within Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industries)
  • Create content and make decisions about hiring contractors and content creators
  • Work with Client Account Managers, Project Managers, Copywriters and Digital Marketing team to develop unique, engaging and relevant content
  • Work with team to ensure tone and style of content is consistent with clients’ brand, tone, look and feel
  • Assist with development of brand awareness and positive online reputation strategies
  • Create and maintain monthly content calendars for all clients
  • Develop engaging posts and campaigns to increase subscribers and encourage follower participation
  • Assist with building relationships and engaging with influencers in order to recognize and create mutually beneficial opportunities for cross-promotion
  • Stay current with regard to social media trends, tools and practices
  • In addition to company supplied training, maintains ongoing self-training to ensure a high level of skills and knowledge

Software Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Sprout software
  • Mac operating system
  • Proficient in Google Drive suite (Sheets, Docs, etc) is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Canva

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business or related field or comparable professional experience
